luckily i had connie lee xue pin for company. but she was number...7? 6? i dont know. & i was FREAKING last. behind i-dont-talk-to-weird-noisy-girls-so-pls-dont-talk-to-me alan. thank the heavens that can walk around the room sia. if not i'd be bored to DEATH. the chinese teacher asked us to be like the malay students. she said they sat there for the whole time, but i dont believe it. not with azhar there.
but i must say we were quite noisy.
oh, yeah, & thank goodness for my sec 2 yrs, bcos most of the guys frm 4e1 are frm 2e2. MUAHAHAHAHA. so i could talk to them, except for aforementioned guy sitting in front of me.
oh, yeah. i also realized that 4e1 guys are nicer than 4e2 guys. seriously. the 4e2 guys are seriously getting on my nerves. maybe i'll be i-dont-talk-to-weird-noisy-irritating-guys-so-pls-dont-talk-to-me araxes.
the other day when we were waiting to finish the health check-up i told chewww that maybe it's better to be lesbian. she said i will nvr be one, bcos it's in my genes that i'll be heterosexual. she didnt say that in those EXACT words, but that's what she meant.
as a matter of fact, i will now do a list of facts [according to yours truly] abt guys [& girls...?]
- some are assholes, but others are nice.
- the assholes are always the ones that are ugly. not physically, but it shows frm inside.
- not all nice guys are nerds.
- when a girl is interested in a guy, she will mentally record what he says to her so that she can replay it over & over in her head/retell it to her friends. even if it's casual.
- not all guys are superficial. maybe a very very very LARGE majority is, but at least there's a very very very very very 0.01% of guys that are not.
5! that should be enough, right? cant think of anymore, my contacts are getting dry.
oh, yeah, where was i? my oral. when i went into the holding room i wasnt nervous at all, maybe bcos i was the last one. but when terrence went in my hands started to get cold. i stood at the window & looked at the ppl playing bball. then when erica lee called me out to read the passage, it was scary man. when it was my turn, it was damn freakishly nerve wrecking, but later it was ok. the conversation was abt maids & their employers, & the passage was abt some bread thingy, or rather, dont know what must remember that things are done step by step & not immediately, so cannot be impatient.
the teachers were quite nice. both were female. at the end of the oral when i thought i could leave the younger teacher asked me, "ni shi bu shi hua ren? [are you chinese?]"
i said yes. in mandarin, of course. then the older one asked, "shi chun zheng de hua ren ma? [are you pure chinese?]"
i said "shi ah, wo de ba ba shi hai nan ren. [yes, my father is hainanese]" actually i thought of saying my mother is teochew, but what the heck.
then the younger said, "oh, bu xiang! [oh, you dont look like one!]"
maxine ang said maybe they'll gimme 1 more mark cos i look mixed but can speak chinese. haha yeah right.
